Rest & Recuperation For Injured Troops in Majorca
Posted 10 July, 2012
Thanks to the generosity of two great friends of the Association who invited us to their beautiful villa, we were recently able to take two groups of injured soldiers and Royal Marines to Majorca for a week’s holiday.
Days were filled quietly painting, walking through stunning valleys and visiting beautiful bays, playing (competitive) table tennis, trips to the beach and the stunning old town of Pollenca, or simply relaxing by the pool.
The purpose of these breaks is to provide a stepping stone for troops in their recovery from injury. As the days went by it was clear that they all felt invigorated and refreshed and they returned home with their spirits lifted.
Photos of the holidays are in the Gallery section of the website.
